Time to make a move to the new Schonstedt XT, the greatest innovation in magnetic locating since the celebrated "yellow stick." When we asked our most demanding customers what they look for in a magnetic locator, they told us: accuracy, reliability and ease of use.

Portable in its holster and belt, the XT is ergonomic, as well as small and lightweight for easy storage. One-hand operation makes finding faster, providing audio indication of ferrous objects, including property markers, manholes, septic tanks, well casings, valve boxes, cast iron pipes, steel drums and unexploded ordnance, up to 16 feet underground. It emits a 10Hz idle frequency that increases with gradient-field intensity. It registers no response to aluminum, brass or copper, and it operates in both retracted and extended modes.

With patented HeliFlux® sensors and a nominal sensor spacing of 9-1/2 inches (24 cm), the XT has continuous sensitivity level control. LCD indicators on the faceplate show battery strength and gain, along with signal strength and polarity. Constructed of 30% glass-filled nylon and high-impact ABS with a 0.2" (5mm) wall thickness, the unit comes with a carrying case (p/n: XT50000) and holster/belt (p/n: Xt30000). A single 9V lithium battery (p/n: B11014, included) located in the grip to protect electronics provides approximately 24 hours of intermittent usage. 7-year warranty.
